Welcome to the "Gay Bogies" steadily expanding "inch" of web-space!

We can always be spotted at the Hastings Jack in the Green festival, where we
usually over-drink and make a lot of noise, cheering the Jack on his merry way!

This site is a humorous look at all our adventures down here in Hastings.
Obviously Jack In The Green plays a huge part in this and to each of us it is the truly pivotal moment of each year.

Two years have passed since the first "GB" site went up and many changes have occurred since then.

Marti relocated to Hastings and was cordially invited to join the ranks of the Hastings Bogies. Since then life has been one long beer-swilling party...SUSSEX!

Simon, Craig and Spen now spend most of their free time attending as many of
local events and parties as possible and are currently being encouraged to move
down! Their welcoming into the merry gang of friends who are at the heart of the
local traditions we all love, was compounded by the greening of their "arses" in the
Fisherman's Museum in 2004, as Jack in the Green tradition dictates!

Demonstrating that the "gayest" of Bogies need not necessarily "dabble in the
dark arts"..."In comes I" .........Mick and Julia.... Gay Bogies through and through !

Twiggy has become quite a character and at his current rate of growth will soon be straddling the Stag Inn.

This year there have been honorary Gay Bogies created, and the birth (thanks Brain) of the dreaded "Gay Bogie Grab"..

Quake with fear you dogs, as votes come in for 2006!
